KySTE Spring Conference

KySTE 2017, the conference of the Kentucky Society of Technology in Education, invites to you to present.  Nearly 2,000 teachers, administrators, and technology leaders will be in attendance.  Share your methods, experiences, initiatives, and successes!  Approved presenters attend the conference for FREE!

This year’s conference theme is “TECH Hero: Technology and Education Creating Heroes.”

Presentation formats can be a basic presentation or a hands-on format and cover various strands including technical, instructional, leadership, and library/media.  You may also choose to present on an introductory, intermediate, or advanced level.  When you apply to present, you will indicate all of these things on your application.

We would love to have YOU present at the KySTE 2017 conference.  The deadline to submit your presentation proposal is November 1, 2016.

KySTE is excited to announce our featured presenters for our KySTE 2018 Spring Conference on March 7-9.  Joining us on March 7th and 8th (Wednesday and Thursday) will be Kathy Schrock, a nationally known Educational Technologist, and Alice Keeler who is a respected presenter across the country on “all things Google.”

Also, new to the KySTE Conference this year, is the addition of Poster Sessions to accompany our MakerSpace Playground.  If you have something innovative in the area of MakerSpaces and STEM going on in your classroom, fill out a presenter application to be a poster presenter.  These sessions will be a block of approximately two hours where attendees will be able to browse the showcase of projects and can engage with presenters one on one or in small groups.  These sessions will be located in our MakerSpace Playground area.

  • Featured Presenter Workshop Sessions: Watch extended presentations from national leaders in the field of technology integration in instructional practice who inspire and ignite passion for connected learning.
  • Lecture: Listen to one or more presenters deliver a traditional lecture.
  • Meeting: Meet in a formal, public or private gathering with a structured purpose or agenda.
  • Panel: Hear two or more experts discuss a specific topic.
  • Playground: Experiment with interactive technologies that enhance creativity and learning.
  • Poster: Browse a showcase of projects in a multibooth environment where you can engage with presenters one on one or in small groups at your own pace.
  • Social event: Network with attendees at hosted sponsored by KySTE and Partners.
