Amy McLaughlin, CETL, CISM
Identified at high school graduation as the person most likely to lead a ban on hair spray products,
Amy found her professional niche when she integrated her commitment to education
and learning with her passion for information security and technology. Amy is a 20+ year
veteran of state, local, and federal government and public education employment with 15 years
of management and leadership experience in information security and student data privacy.
Currently serving as the Director of Information Services for Student Health at Oregon State
University and the Cybersecurity Project Director for CoSN, she is also an experienced K-20
educator and Adjunct Faculty member at Chemeketa Community College. She holds a Master
of Science in Information Technology Management and a Master of Arts in Marriage & Family
Therapy. She is also a CoSN Certified Education Technology Leader (CETL), an ISACA
Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and AHIMA Certified in Healthcare Privacy and
Security (CHPS).
