Registration Information

 

Who should attend:
(EILA Credit will be offered to anyone who wants/needs it!)

  • School Administrators
  • CIOs/DTCs
  • District/School Technical Support Personnel
  • Instructional Technologist Teachers
  • Board Attorneys and other District Leadership

 

Goals for the Day:

  • Attendees will gather information on resources available to them.
  • Attendees will learn things to think about when planning to deal with legal issues.
  • Attendees will discover ways they can protect themselves from legal chaos.
  • Attendees will help KySTE determine what topics need to be covered in more detail at the KySTE 2016 Spring Event March 9-11, 2016.

  • 8:00-8:30 - Light Breakfast/Vendor Time
  • 8:30-8:45 - Cheri Gossett (KySTE Welcome)
  • 8:45-9:15 - Justin Bathon (Copyright)
  • 9:30-10:15 - Amy Peabody (General Student Search and Seizure)
  • 10:15-11:00 - Justin Bathon (Discipline)
  • 11:00-12:30 - Lunch on your own/Vendor Time (Great time to visit with colleagues and learn from them!)
  • 12:30-1:30 - Bob Hackworth (Data Decisions)
  • 1:30-2:30 - Justin Bathon & Jody Rose (Emerging Issues)
  • 2:45-3:15 - CIO Panel (Justin Bathon Facilitating)
  • 3:15-3:30 - Cheri Gossett-KySTE wrap up/Dismiss

 

Attendees Please Have:

  • Digital Devices so they can participate as needed
  • Access to a copy of their districts Acceptable Use Policy

 

Exhibitor Information
Vendor Tables for the 2015 Fall Event may be reserved by completing our Sponsorship Application Form,   under the “Spring Conference Individual Sponsorships” heading.  Tables are $500 each, include electric and wi-fi, and location is first-come, first-served when you arrive.  Tables are limited to approximately 20 vendors.  Vendors may select tables and set-up the morning of October 21st, before the Event starts.
