Selected
organizations
will receive a
$16,000 (USD)
grant from HP to
support
innovative
educators to
serve as HP
Catalyst Academy
Fellows. New
fellows will
join the current
cohort in
creating a fresh
approach to
professional
learning by
developing free,
online
mini-courses
designed
especially for
STEMx teachers.
Proposals are
due July 8.

Study: Sparking
Innovation in
STEM Education
The Organization
for Economic
Cooperation and
Development
(OECD), which is
known for the
Programme for
International
Student
Assessment
(PISA) reports
that compare
education
systems around
the world, just
published a case
study. ISTE's
Research and
Evaluation
Department
managed data
collection for
the effort. The
case study
examines the
emerging STEMx
education
innovations and
the impact of
international
collaboration
among the
educators
participating in
the first two
years of the HP
Catalyst
Initiative. The
report is
available
