From the KySTE Board Conference Call
KySTE's
conference call was February 11 over Microsoft Lync.
Planning
Committee
This
committee is in charge of planning KySTE events, including the Fall
Event and Spring Conference.

closes in three days! This is a firm deadline! Register now! KySTE also
welcomes 32 conference volunteers -- thanks for your help in making
KySTE 2014 a great experience.

- Infinite Campus. Did you miss this? We have a full day of IC content on
Wednesday's pre-conference workshop, with additional sessions the rest of the conference. Tell your district/school IC people! Look to our conference information page for links to session matrices.
- KDE/KIDS will be hosting round-table discussions during the Wednesday conference workshop. Have an idea for a discussion topic? Contact VP Erin Waggoner or Outreach Coordinator Tony Carr.

Committee
The
current figures reflect disbursement of last year's KySTE Outreach
payments, and receipts and Accounts Receivable from memberships dues
and KySTE 2014 registrations/sponsorships. As
of January 31, the
Budget Committee's monthly figures were as follows:

The
deadline for STLP Scholarship Applications has been extended to

Elections
Committee
Elections
for the 2014-15 board have been completed -- welcome the following
winners! Terms start July 1.
- Vice President: Cheri Gossett.
Cheri is the Mayfield Independent Schools DTC, and is a returning past
president.
- Secretary:
Greta Casto. Greta is the DTC for Russell Independent Schools. She will
be serving her 2nd term as KySTE secretary.
- KySTE Outreach: David Lucas.
David is a Fleming County district technician and a first-time KySTE
board member.
- Communications: Jeffrey L. Jones. Jeffrey is a 6+ year KySTE Board veteran and past
president, and Fayette Co. district tech resource teacher.
- Region 2 Representative: Robert
Forsythe. Robby is the DTC of Warren County Schools, and
has served as Region 2 Rep for two previous terms.
- Region 4 Representative: Angie White.
Gallatin County Director of Technology Angie returns to the KySTE board for her 2nd term.
- Region 6 Representative: Tony Tompkins. Tony
begins hs first term in this position. He's the District Technology
Coordinator for Berea Independent Schools.
Current president Diana McGhee will automatically move to Past President, and current VP Erin Waggoner moves to President. For

Governance Committee
A
small modification of Policies and Procedures providing for the payment
of ISTE dues for the ISTE Liaison office holder was approved.
