KySTE 2014
Conference
Thanks
to our volunteer presenters, exhibitors,
conference volunteers, and our enthusiastic attendees, it
was a great conference!
- Statistics.
Even with weather and reduced budgets,
it was still a good turnout. Here are some quick statistics.
- Registered
attendees totaled 1,363. The exhibit hall added 479 exhibitor
personnel/staff. Total attendance was over 1,800.
- We
had 206 presenters offering 272 concurrent sessions during the three days of the conference.
- 157
Exhibit Hall booths were sold, including 43 first-time exhibitors.
- The
Wednesday Workshops were attended by 687, with DTC/CIO's representing
the largest pool. Technicians were second, followed by
TRT/TIS's.
- Over
300 members attended our Thursday Members Reception at the Sports and
Social Club/4th Street Live. We had a blast! (See
the photo gallery here.)
- Closing
Ceremony highlights
- KySTE
presented its "Outstanding...." awards, as well as certificates to
retiring and returning board members. (See last month's Members Update for our award winners this year.) We also gave out our KySTE Outreach awards (see below).
- Did
you miss Erin Waggoner's (our incoming President) introduction of KySTE
2015 at the closing ceremony? Here's the
YouTube video: "KySTE 15 Welcome to the Future!" (Know anyone
who owns a DeLorean? Erin wants one for the conference!)
- We
gave away over $4,000 in prizes!
