- Executive
Director Gary Grant reported that two-thirds of exhibit hall booths have
now been sold. In board action, citing concerns over the presence of
students,
the distribution of alcoholic beverages during the exhibit hall grand
opening has been disallowed.
- The
Members Reception has once again been scheduled for the Sports and
Social Club.
- Fall Event: KySTE
is exploring the possibility of alternating the location of this event
between the eastern and western parts of the state, with Western
Kentucky University as a possible partner for next year's event. The
board also discussed returning the event to "Technology Leadership,"
with focus more in tune with the interests of such leadership in
Kentucky education.
