Kentucky Society for Technology in Education

KySTE is in dire need of its own logo!  We are asking all those K-12 budding and expert graphic artists to submit their entries. Check out the current entries!

Deadline: February 28, 2007

Prizes: Adobe Creative Suite 2 (a $900 retail value) for the individual winner and a 5-pack district membership and registration to the 2007 KySTE Summer Conference. 

Who can enter: Contest is open to all Kentucky K-12 public school students and employees.  Multiple submissions by one individual are allowed. KySTE board members are ineligible.

Criteria:

1. The logo's concept should reflect KySTE's mission and goals.
2. The logo must be easily recognizable as the KySTE logo.  It is not necessary to include "KySTE" or "Kentucky Society of Technology in Education" text in the logo design.
3. The design should be visually appealing in both color and grayscale.  For printing purposes, the design should contain no more than 3 colors.
4. The logo must be scalable, i.e. looks good small (to fit in a page footer) and large sizes (for printing on a 10 ft banner).
5. Artwork must be your own original creation, no third-party artwork may be used and it should not resemble any existing logo.
6. You agree to reliquish ownership of the logo and any copyrights to the Kentucky Society of Technology in Education.
