What's New?

  • Free Membership: Membership is now available at no cost to all interested parties. We believe in inclusivity and want to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to be part of KySTE and collaboratively work to achieve our mission of advancing technology across classrooms.
     

  • Tiered Membership Structure: Your membership affiliation will be determined by your external role, allowing us to better tailor our resources and support to your professional needs, and allowing us to prioritize Kentucky school district personnel. 
     

  • Automatic Membership for Conference Attendees: If you're attending our spring conference, there's no need to register for membership separately. Your membership will be automatically processed by us, so you can focus on enjoying the event and connecting with fellow members.

Why Become a KySTE Member?

KySTE Outreach

  1. KySTE Outreach: This program of grants and services is available only to members. Over $135,000 has been distributed so far. Through member dues and vendor partnerships, KySTE will increase its offerings every year.

KySTE Positions and Elections: Help ​​​to actively shape the future of KySTE! Members have the ability to run for office and vote in elections, ensuring that their voices are heard and their perspectives are represented. This level of involvement empowers members to influence key decisions, contribute to the organization's growth, and drive meaningful change within our community.
     

  3. Education Reform Agenda: Education technology serves as a powerful catalyst for education reform. KySTE leadership is actively engaging in discussions across various platforms, including regional organizations and the Kentucky Department of Education. Their goal is to promote education reform that incorporates effective technology use practices and fosters 21st Century skills.
     

  4. Spring Conference Perks: Get exclusive KySTE member benefits at our Spring Conference, including swag, networking, and event opportunities. Join us at our annual "KySTE Members Reception", a catered opportunity to network, meet KySTE leadership, and learn about KySTE opportunities.
