The Kentucky Society for Technology in Education is a 501(c)(3) non-profit professional organization and affiliate of the International Society for Technology in Education. It is committed to the support of technology in and for education. Its members consist of district technology coordinators, technicians, tech resource/integration specialists, Student Technology Leadership Program coordinators and sponsors, library media specialists, general district and school leadership, and classroom teachers who share a passion for the use of technology in learning.

The Mission of KySTE (Kentucky Society for Technology in Education) is to empower the educational community in the Commonwealth of Kentucky to infuse technology as an integral part of the educational process through advocacy and leadership, promoting educational excellence and supporting technology-based innovation.
