From the KySTE Board Conference Call
KySTE
will be having their traditional face-to-face board meeting Sunday,
Oct. 27. The agenda will include conference planning, awards and
scholarships, grant offerings, and KySTE participation in events and

This
committee is in charge of planning KySTE events, including the Fall
Event and Spring Conference.

Center.

Budget Committee submitted its audit for fiscal year 2012-13, prepared
by KySTE Board Accountant Ken Drane. :

$97,275 (KySTE Outreach grant disbursements)

KySTE
membership has reached 180! Since the overwhelming majority of members
join through KySTE's conference and event registrations, this is an
unusual membership count so early this year. Do you know anyone who
should join? Forward this newsletter, and ask! Membership dues are used
primarily to fund KySTE
Outreach (see below).

discussed at the
board meeting, KySTE is exploring affiliation and possible future

Outreach News
KySTE
Outreach's fall grant offering has been delayed slightly, but will be
released shortly. The total offering this year will be $80,000. As per
last year, applicants will be allowed to ask for part or all of this
total. Watch for an announcement coming soon!
